PANORÁMICO “O” 2015

A fortuitous white wine of oxidative aging in Rioja.

This wine has been elaborated with 90% of white Viura grapes and 10% of other varieties such as Malvasia, white Grenache,… After a process in which 20% of the grapes showed the presence of botrytis, they were left unharvested until desiccation, while the rest of the grapes overripe. Once the grapes were harvested by hand, this wine was made with 80% must and 20% whole grapes. During the process, the barrels were 90% filled so that the presence of oxygen would favor the start of oxidative aging, and the wine remained in the barrels for a total of almost 4 years. In this way we have produced a wine with its own personality and a very different character to what white wines in the Rioja Denomination of Origin usually are.

Of this 2015 vintage, 2,735 bottles have been produced.

Bright yellow color. Penetrating, complex, toasted aroma, with notes of dried fruits and hints of acetyldehyde. In the mouth it is oily, iodized, saline and spicy, which makes it a very “good gastronomic companion”.
